As you all know the Nawarathri festival has been celebrated on last 8th of October 2010, and as usual our society has done the cultural events with the Religious School students at Sri Muthumariyamman Temple. It was amazing!
The festival celebration is for nine days, as every hindu knows the first three days people pray to get strength from god "Durga", next three days to get money from god "Lukshmi" and the last three days to get education from god "Sharaswathi". Tenth day we celebrate the "Manamboo Festival" which can tell us the backround story of the Nawarathri festival.
And the most important event during the nine days is the Launch of the Web Site of us which is THIS !!! We gave the announcement to public on the pooja of the society which is the first day of "Sharaswathi" and the seventh day of the Nawarathri. We asked the public to guess what we are going to do. Fortunately many of them guessed correctly and we gave a small gift to the person who gave us the correct answer first.
On the last day of Nawarathri we launched the website at our temple after the pooja. When we launch the website we had a graet couragement from public and from the students too. Every one in the temple were in qurious to know the things in the website. We were really glad on this event.
